Here’s a brief report from the Trustees of Emley Millennium Green re our grant from DDPET for paths, car park & boundary repair:

Clearing and planning work has been going on in preparation. A contract is in progress buying the materials & providing heavy equipment ready for the major work on paths and carpark for disable access etc. The scope has increased somewhat and to meet manpower needs for best us of equipment we are planning 23^rd September with a big team.

Work on trees and perimeter repair has also increased with much thinning (tree surgery) now required in particular places. This is to keep faith with neighbours of the green who have lost light & their views which are needed for them keep us informed.
